It might be okay to be opinionated, judgemental and cynical, or be annoyed and irritated with people and their behaviour; you just have to keep your thoughts to yourself. Lately, I’m having trouble with that. I’m going to try harder to keep my mouth shut.
New bad habit: go into the city with every intention of handing out resumes. Get distracted/get there at the wrong time e.g. when it’s too busy to schmooze, decide to go window shopping to waste some time. Waste too much time, realise it’s too late in the day to do anything, go home. Plan to get up early and do it properly tomorrow.
This has happened twice this week. I rule.
